The old guard ain't doing what boxing history usually does. Both Floyd & Manny still lingering around without handing down the torch. Thurman IMO beats both but we will never get the chance to see him either accomplish that or lose because of business.

Are you really that obtuse? He also fought 69 fights and was a legend during his era. Launched boxing's popularity across the nation to parallel baseball's popularity which opened the doors for future champions and contenders.

        Floyd is retired.

You can't blame that on him.

I have no idea. Only theory I have is that WW is loaded with talent and there is no clear #1, which is why the division does not get as much attention as it should.

There was a time when he fought only once in 3 years...maybe longer.

Didn't go near any Black fighters.

He was already established by that time. Didn't fight black fighters due to politics and management. The only fighter he ever avoided was Sam Langford back when Dempsey was just coming up and Langford was in his prime. He actually wanted the Wills fight.

But hey, you are a hater of epic proportions on here. Another cheerleader and apologist for certain fighters of a certain demographic. Your efforts to derail my posts are very transparent. Thanks for playing.

                  I like Thurman, good fighter.
If he fights the winner of the Brook/Spence fight and wins..that's massive.

He hasn't really dominated his big fights......most top p4p'ers of the past have been dominant in their big fights.

And you are an antagonistic troll. Too bad you are limited in intellect and maturity to carry on a real discussion about boxing. You're attention span is so limited you had to hijack this thread instead of staying on topic. Adios racist troll.
