Approval of 'showboating' is 95% dependent on a person's feelings about the 'showboater' themselves. If I like said fighter, he is 'having fun'. If I dislike said fighter, he is 'clowning' or 'disrespecting his opponent'.

Seems like a lot of people doesn't like snowboating. But a man supposed to have ****iness and agression to some certain extent. A man is not a man if he doesn't have certain predatory instincts. Snowboating is good to demoralize your opponent and show that you established the dominance in the ring, but it might be just for fun with no certain purpose at all, so there's nothing wrong with it

I'm not crazy about showboating but I like what Loma does - as long as it doesn't seem forced or too disrespectful. His stuff seems natural and as a reaction to the moment. I can appreciate that. Kinda like the way Floyd looked over at the ropes when Canelo missed with a wild right hand. There's a natural flow to it. As opposed to Andre Ward trying to wind up a bolo punch in a round he's losing.
