Matchroom doesn't seem to want to promote the fight, which is fine (Frank Warren has his own TV channel for heck's sake).
Even if the ask is 1 million British pounds (instead of the 800k that I'd suggested), Frank Warren would be able to take a fight featuring to Manchester fighters, on opposite ends of the football divide, fighting in Manchester (heard some stuff about Crolla and Flanagan not rocking with each other since their school days).
Joshua-Molina apparently did 3 million British pounds on their sellout of Manchester Arena; 1.5 million British pounds for Flanagan-Crolla isn't unheard of.
The BT deal was supposed to put enough money behind Warren that they'd have comparable payouts to what Sky Sports is backing Matchroom with, and Flanagan-Crolla would be the biggest fight that Warren could put on, tbh.
Figured there'd be enough money to be made to have Warren be happy to take on the event, but I guess i'm mistaken
