    I completely agree with daguum.

Compubox stats are incorrect but even if they were accurate, it is an ineffective way of judging a fight given that a glancing blow and a clean blow are both classed as a landed power punch. A round should be judged on who does more damage. This is not old-style point-scoring amateur boxing.

Floyd mayweather jr. switched his style to point scoring and because he was such a big draw, he had ridiculously favourable scorecards in first maidana fight and the pacquaio fight. People now give unwarranted credence to this style and theres a snobby sect of the boxing community which believes that those who dont appreciate this style aren't as knowledgeable about boxing, whilst completely ignoring the illegal tactics of bending below the waist and illegal repetitive holding.

Don't get it twisted doe I'm not delusional about what these stats mean & they aren't the end all be all of a fight like I said originally, but nothing is 100% like some cats think things should be or its a failure 100% of the time. There is middle ground or more often than not to take into consideration with anything.
      what's wrong with mountain dew?

this is why the compubox system inherently favors amateur type point fighters. a flush shot is a lot harder to land than a grazing shot yet if you are given the same credit for doing both...why would you take a risk and go for the harder one? just look at floyds pad work. hes not punching through the target but to the target and then pulling back. thats the compubox pad work right there
