I see posters use it when it fits their agenda and this dismiss it when it doesnt...

Does Compubox matter?

Apparently not because Kov had a heavy edge over coWard and a KD yet Ward won a UD. He landed more total punches and more power punches as well as outlanded coWard in 7 out of 12 rounds.
So yeah, Compubox doesn't appear to count for schit sometimes.......just sayin.

Of course it matters. But its not the only thing that matters in a fight & more importantly in scoring a fight with how the rules of boxing work.
I will say I think power punches landed matter more than any other compubox number. Generally you can come up with the winner probably 90%+ of the time just by looking who landed more power punches in excess of 3-5 shots in more rounds within the margin of error with the rounds not in excess of 3-5 punches anyway. Even though "power punches" is a bs term since its basically just any non-jab punch of course. It still seems to be the compubox stat that translates into winning rounds with judges more than any other.
