Kov definitely won the first fight. Especially with the KD.

HOWEVER, you cannot deny Ward won like 5 at the minimum 4 of the last 6 rounds.

Ward ties you up doesn't mean he's tired he just ties you up to stop your work. illegal but nobody is stopping it this time around either.

Kovalev was tired as hell. you can tell this by his punches in the 2nd half of the fight. there was a drastic drop in hand speed and punching arc. and even landing %. he looked amaturish. Ward by comparison was more consistent and he has a good gas tank. he had to develop it for his style.

That's what you think. You could be right or you could be wrong. That's why they have fights to see who really wins not who might win. As for gas tanks Kovalev threw more punches than Ward so how does Ward have better stamina? The deck might be stacked in Ward's favor but Kovalev could knock Ward out and then the judges can't rob him. Kovalev has a much stronger will to win, and more determination and courage when things are going poorly than Tyson did.

I think this is more like Bert & Ernie. Ernie is Ward. Both are kinda emo & sh^t, but Ernie is crafty. Kovalev is Bert who's more aggressive, but simple minded & shows his hand too easily.

Nothing you said in any way compares to Tyson-Holyfield, and Ward-Kovalev is definitely nothing like Tyson-Holyfield.

Kovalev was better at range than Ward in the first fight and did a good job tying Ward up inside. Ward's the one who has to bring something different or he will be in another big hole to dig out of, and he may not be able to do so or get the benefit of the doubt for doing so this time.

I love Kov's style.... but the fact that he becomes a deer in headlights in close range is going to lose him this fight again. Especially with Ward/Roc Nation ironing out the small details as Kathy Duva stated. meaning Ward's ref and judges.

They had a feeling out process in the first fight and Kovalev had to get Ward out of there. The problem is Ward knows his entry angles now and he knows for a fact like I do that Kovalev has a bad gas tank. So Ward will do everything he can to extend this fight into the 2nd half.

Kovalev's inside game is also abysmal. He does not have any inside hooks to the body or uppercuts. None. He would have Ward leaning on the ropes and he'd just hop back to reset.

So it's going to be another night of frustrating affair for Kovalev.

All he has is a puncher's chance. ded ***en srs

                      I disagree.

Kovalev landed subtle rt hooks and uppercuts inside that stopped ward in his tracks.

He isnt holyfield inside , but he is still dangerous.

Kovalev has tons of ring iq and ring generalship. His jab is money and his rt hand is a threat at any time. Ward is bitting off more than he can chew.

JDJ gameplan last time out was a great one. I expect JDJ to show kovalev has wards number seeing as more than 85% of people think kovalev really won
