Obviously you have not seen all his fights or know his record and in desperate need of glasses on top of that. And the next guy he is fighting is a prime champion who knocked out one of the elite of the division.

It all depends on how you look at it, and I think everyone knows that Salido is NOT a punk:

      August 8, 2016:

“Bob Arum said take it or leave it to the purse he was offering. Well, we’ll leave it,” Salido manager Sean Gibbons said. “It’s a … insult.”

Gibbons is irked that Salido is being offered less than what former World Boxing Organization super-featherweight champion Rocky Martinez was paid (around $525,000) to lose his belt to Lomachenko on June 11 at Madison Square Garden.

      January 4, 2017:

“Orlando Salido chickened out,” Arum told ******.com on Tuesday. “It’s the only way to say it. He asked for crazy money. We agreed to the crazy money. And then he says, ‘No.’ He’d just as soon not take the fight. Why? Because he knows he can’t beat (Lomachenko). It was a fluke the first time. So, there’s no other way to paint it...”

Who do you want to believe, Arum or Salido?

I believe Gibbons - he said: "We spoke a lot about it, we discussed it, we had a lot of talks about the Lomachenko fight,'' said Gibbons. "But the more people you spoke to and the more people out there and the media, the public has spoken. What fight they want to to see? Salido-Vargas again. So that's the way we're leaning now." THAT is a duck.

Dont forget the statement Salido made himself after what his manger said about more people wanting Salido vs Vargas saying all Loma does is run and hold, tells me Salido doesn't want no rematch.

            Some 'boxing fans' are clueless.

            Lomachenko 'overrated'

Exactly! They used a piss poor excuse to avoid a much bigger paycheck and that came back to haunt them now that their first choice was Vargas who was stomped out in his last fight.

So it's a "duck" for Salido to want a rematch with Vargas, which was 2016 Fight of the Year? If you polled all the fight fans in the world and asked which do you want to see Salido vs. Vargas or Salido vs. Lomachenko, what do you think the answer would be? If Salido denying Lomachenko a rematch is a "duck," what is Lomachenko denying Gary Russell Jr. a rematch? Is that a duck?

Both fights were the same to you? One was a competitive fight with controversy surrounding it in the way Salido conducted himself to one where Loma completely schooled Russell.

So you think Vargas was an "easier" fight than the Lomachenko fight? I would rather see Salido vs. Vargas II, Salido vs. Berchelt, or Salido vs. Miura, more than I want to see Salido vs. Lomachenko II. I think most boxing fans would have been willing to pay for Salido vs. Vargas II, before Vargas was beaten by Berchelt. Even that fight was better than Salido vs. Lomachenko! Styles make fights!

Salido did what Salido does! Loma should've adjusted! That's the difference between the amateurs and the pros! I bet Loma won't make that mistake again! Salido is a warrior, and to say anything else is very disrespectful!
