I don't think the Salido loss will particularly impact him going forward. Think about it, he has one loss in 8 fights but is still being mentioned for the pound for pound crown. You are absolutely right about one thing, if he beats Garcia, the Salido fight will be a distant memory. Peace.

      I don't believe so.

Salido didn't bother making weight and cheated like **** all fight, then refused a rematch. It'll only be a stain to those who think an undefeated record is paramount, regardless of circumstance.

On to bigger and better fights.

Modern greats suffer from inactivity which prevents them from being seen as often as they should be to reach the level of superstardom

A fight with Mikey Garcia would prove greatness for the winner.

Martinez had gone 1-0-1 with Salido in the year leading up to his fight with Lomachenko.

Lisa Giampa's scorecard in Loma-Russell was up there with CJ Ross scoring Mayweather-Canelo a draw...

And if by "schooled", you mean outlanding Salido and getting battered with low blows that the ref didn't call, then yes....

But regardless of resume, talentwise there aren't many even close to him.

Salido asked for a certain amount and Arum offered it and then Salido ran like a banshee.

Nonsense. Many fighters have moved up in weight successfully and won titles.
