Because his division is weak, much like GGG's. At 130 there is Jezreel Corrales and that's about it.

There's better competition for him at either 126 (LSC, Frampton, Mares, Oscar Valdez) or at 135 (Mikey Garcia, Linares, Easter Jr.)

130 isnt that bad. Youve got all them guys on HBO beating the bejesus out of each other. Miura, Roman, Vargas, Berchelt, Salido etc. Then theres Gervonta Davis over on PBC.

Davis is the hardest to make but the rest shouldnt be difficult. Not the strongest division but there are ddecent opponents there for him if he can get the fights.

Obviously a step up to fight Garcia or Linares would be great but they are hardly easy to make either.

There was never an a$$ whooping. A fighter comes in overweight, multiple punches to the balls without being penalized and is getting clocked and out on his feet near the end, sure as hell not an a$$ whooping. Hey Einstein, should you really refer to a 25 yr. old man with 397 amateur fights, as a "rookie." Like I said, he can still be great! I just compared him to Sugar Ray Leonard! That's a compliment! The low ball offer was the first offer, not the second one in which Salido's demands were met and Salido's team declined and said they going in a different direction and wanted the Vargas rematch.
