    Why should Golovkin fight Saunders?

    Poll is multiple choice.

After Saunders last fight, it's hard to say BJS v Golovkin is a great fight anymore. However, I still think there's a lot of reasons why it's a legit fight and needs to happen. Before it gets booked and everyone "takes sides", what's your thoughts on this?

How legit of a challenge is Saunders still? Does it even matter and is the unification aspect more important than going after the biggest challenge (Canelo or Degale) right now?

BJS would be a serious challenge for Golovkin.

I don't think this is a good fight at all, he could be doing better things.

Best competition thats left, if Jacobs was the #2 MW than Saunders is #3. Resume wise he got Lee win(who drew with Quillin and that was Jacobs best win) and Eubanks jr.but Canelo obviously will be the better fight with more money to make.

It's a quick fight bjs presents no real danger he is inferior in every aspect, canelo fight should still happen after there is no reason not to. If Oscar wants to promote longer for a fight that sells itself he can schedule for October or November either way no venue or official date has been discussed. Also Floyd mcgreggor is most likely happening September.

I don't think this is a good fight at all. Without the title the BJS fight is irrelevant.

He's a decent fighter and might be durable enough to go 12 but it shouldn't happen in place of the Canelo fight.

Both sides are adamant they're working on a deal so they should place all their focus on getting that fight signed. The deadline for this fight is September.

Unification!!! For Golovkin to add the WBO belt to his collection. Saunders wouldn't want to pass up a chance to win all these as well in a single fight (minus the special WBC belt).

"Undisputed and Unified World Champion" just has a nice ring to it. Great marketing and negotiating angle when the time comes for a big fight.

              2. Legit middleweight who wants to fight at 160 and has the last title that Golovkin wants.
              3. One legit champ per division, something we all would like in the era of multiple org belts.

                Unification is the only reason.

Golovkin needs to fight Saunders because we need more fighting and less marinating.

I don't care for unification's because I don't need a bum to validate the other one -- its a oxymoron.
