Loeffler wouldn't say the exact amount but he nodded his head to make it seem like thay was correct. The reporter even wrote he believed it was $6 million .Hell I blasted Saunders for turning down that much until I found out it was just $1.5. NO ONE is making more by tha $2 million fighting ggg. But I agree that Canelo is better at selling "ice to and eskimo". How he's getting those high ppv numbers for fights like Khan, Smith etc. is beyond me. Litterally selling ice to an eskimo. But hey...the last casual national fan isn't born yet. He is lucky to have a default built in fan base. Try to build a fan base in US when you're from Khazakstan. It's much more impressive what GGG/HBO has done.

Do you seriously belive that all GGG had to do was say "yes", sign a contract, and Oscar would give him $15 million, plus PPV %, to fight Canelo in Sept 2017, whatever happened .. no strings, no if and buts, no qualifications .. just sign this and show up a year next Sept and the money is yours?

When New promoter Richard Shaefer Agrees with Oscar, you know the GGG camp is wrong.

Even Richard Shaefer Agrees GGG should not fight in June, that they can start the Promotions for GGG Vs Canelo immediatley after the Chavez Vs Canelo fight. You gotta look at the business side of things there are investors and networks and all kinda stuff involved in a promotion millions of dollars put up and venue reservations and such, for all them to commit to this with GGG having a fight pending makes it more dificult.

K2 and GGG need to take whatever GB offers them for the fight. If GGG was so big as a champion and all his belst mattered, he and K2 would be the ones making the offer, but they can't'. K2 can't afford to offer any top fighter good money. K2 can't afford to pay someone 2 mil let alone what Canelo commands. GGG's only big pay days will come from other promoters who will dictate them, however, GGG and his team never seem to make any concessions to make the fight unless it favors them.
