I get the Canelo fans, they don't want to believe their boy is allowing this kind of ducking. It's like a parent that refuses to believe their kid is on drugs and then enables their use.

But everyone else is just be goofy. Everyone doesn't ask Loeffler for promises to make this fight, because they know if this isn't made it was because De La Hoya and Canelo didn't want it to be made. The media member have watched this sport for decades, they don't fall for the bs "sign the contract" excuses from the fighters. They know when Canelo and De La Hoya sit up in interviews and say GGG needs to sign the contract it's hyperbole and self serving statements.

how is this any different than yelling "anyone from 154-168" then telling ward, who everyone knows is looking at moving up, that youll fight him at 164(even though you wouldn't have made that fight either)?

wheres the backlash? wheres are the negative articles?

its easy to talk about 168 when ward is on the sideline...and even when he returns you know hes prob going to 175 anyway......but how is that any different? remember the excuses "oh andre hasn't fought...nobody know who he is...its too difficult financially blah blah"

this is how you know certain groups of people want a hero. they want to live vicariously through someone. if you look at things as in unbiased boxing fan youll see golovkin is no different. but its fun to crucify canelo because who cares right? because canelo is supposed to be the guy to lend his name to golovkins terrible resume right? that's what you need isn't it?

I would love to see canelo/ggg...but to be honest...I think its a bit funny that Oscar is playing the games...you know why? cause Oscar sees what k2 and golovkin are doing....and hes not about to give them a free ride on his company.......I honestly think it would be equal parts sad/funny to see golovkin have wasted/thrown away the last 3 years for a fight he never got....cause that's what hes done....hes been sniffing canelos panties for a couple of years now and basically done nothing noteworthy in the process(except nearly lose the one good fight he took)
