I like this fight. Canelo has yet to face a legit middleweight contender. Lemieux is an excellent opponent to test the waters at 160.

IF the fight is at 160..........Lemiex would be nicely drained at about 157.

He's making $10 million for a June fight. Maybe he should just let that slip by on the chance that the Canelo fight happens I guess? If Loeffler passes on the homecoming fight without having the Canelo fight signed for September then he's a fking idiot. Letting some other team run your guys career is not a smart move.

I wouldn't it put it past Canelo. Lemieux is already struggling to make 160. A catch-weight of 157-158 would make this fight pointless. Catch-weights should be abolished.

Hahahaha canelo has fought several top 20 p4p,several top jmws like lara or trout rated top 3 ,as has ward,so try again dumbass,& their both younger. This clown STILL hasnt defeated 1 single actual champ only undefended paper vacant title champs,now hes going after yet another in billyboy who only defended his vacant strap vs a nobody whom he robbed. Ggg is 35 & the 1st opponent he fought that was a legit test he robbed. & Just so u know clown , each org has their own rankings so if lemeiux was no4 or 3 in 1 bs org like ibf hes actually top 12 in division. In gigis entire career hes only faced 2 guys who were top 4 in a single org even, lemeiux & jacobs,thats it.
Ward has fought the winner of the single six competition froch & destroyed him with a broken hand with ease,securing all the belts. He then MOVED UP2 175was kd by snr ggg,got up & tamed him the remainder of the fight.

Nobody is asking for this fight but it will be what we get in Sept. It is very clear Oscar does not believe Canelo could beat GGG.
