Expect a whole new experience. It's NOTHING like tv. You see EVERY punch that lands and you can tell it was a connection no question. Impossible to accurately judge a fight on tv. You get a respect on just how brutal the sport can be. If you sit on the floor you will get a chance to meet some of these guys, depending who attends of course. After boxers matches they tend to come out and mingle too.
I go to as many as I can. Been to every PBC card this year and a few others. I always sit ring side because that's where my people are, but the view sucks. If they aren't heavyweights the ropes and ref can block your view. Sitting in the first 10-20 stadium seats would be best

I just went to GGG/Jacobs, it was my first live card ever.

I had a great time and already know I'm gonna start going to more fights in the future.

Great atmosphere and fight fans of all races/nationalities mixed in.

A few fights before the televised 2 or 3. For the GGG card I saw 7 fights total which was awesome.

The action seems faster in person than it does on TV.

            Have a great time bro!

My first fight I ever been to was Manny Pacquiao vs Miguel Cotto at the MGM Grand. Dude, it's an experience to remember provided it's the right event.

Going to the weigh in was also fun.

I hope you enjoy it man, it's worth the experience.

once you go to a big fight at the garden or vegas you will become addicted. ive been going for awhile now. been to vegas a couple of times for pac/hatton and pac/cotto. seen cotto(margarito, shane and sergio) and others at the garden. usually try to go to the local shows at mohegan or foxwoods too. i wanted to go to jacobs/golovkin but a friends birthday party fell on it and i couldnt ditch it.

went to many fights live seen thurman, cotto, porter, John duddy, Jarret hurd, ect. Had a blast everytime. Totally different experience then watching on tv. Can feel the power of the punches more live then on tv.

Ladies in short sexy dresses (weather permitting).

25% chance of a fight in the crowd.

                    Watered down beer/alcohol.

And if its a club show or low level bigger promoter show a whole card full of red corner winners cuz every fight will be some 3-0ish to 20-0ish kid vs some poor bastard with a 5% to 40% career winning percentage.
