Good fighter, smart, quick, excellent counter-puncher. Stamina is his weakness, and I think strong, similarly sized opponents will expose his defense and power.

I used to like him but his 155 crap, ducking and in-denial fans made me hate him

As a fighter he is an all-arounder and pretty accurately rated

Oscar knows this and will protect him, don't see him taking on any slick boxers anytime soon.
Slick boxers aren't really the issue; Alvarez throws well enough to slow up the movement after a bit, and his work on defense/picking/head movement helps make him not that easy to hit. Those will continue to be close fights, but fights like that are ones that Alvarez's style should edge.

The issue comes with the Keith Thurman-esque fighters; really good movement, solid fundamental skills, counter off of the back foot, potshot, etc.

Should definitely avoid those banana peels, but there aren't enough of that style of fighter that you can't maneuver Alvarez around

He's an A level guy. Maybe at the lower end of the A level scale but still legitimately A level.

there is one attribute which make great athletes whatever their sport and that is "great stamina", Canelo dont have that.
