    How good is Canelo?

Do you think he is just one of many or do you see him as exceptional?

Above average. He'd be exceptional if he had any footwork or foot speed. That's his biggest flaw.

Exceptional punching form and good head and upper body movement, but poor feet, poor engine and poor gameplans

I think he is exceptional and on a par with the top 4 or 5 boxers in the world fighting now. I think he is up there with GGG, Kovalev, Ward,Loma and Rigo on a pound for pound rating. He looks better every fight and I thought he looked great in his last fight. I expect him to dominate and stop Chavez. He think he has a 50?50 chance to beat GGG.

This is what I see from Canelo. He does some things very well, and other things not so well.

              Great fighter

exceptional body puncher, very good at laying traps and countering, good defense and perhaps the best combination puncher in the business atm

he has cement feet, though. so he will always struggle with running *****es like Lara

Canelo is a good fighter, has good skills, head movement, good hand speed.

However since his fight with Cotto he's been fighting poor competition. A fight against Glass Chin welterweight Khan was a fight no one was clamoring for. A fight against the weakest of the 154lb belt holders unkown Liam Smith was a fight no one was clamoring for and a weight draining catchweight fight against Chavez Jr is strictly a publicity fight and money grab. Canelo vs Chavez Jr would have been good back in 2011 or 2012. Chavez Jr. hasn't done anything since getting beat by Martinez to warrant a fight of this magnitude. So Canelo needs to get on the ball with his opponent choices.

He could've been the stand out fighter at lmw if he didn't spend so many fights at 155.

I think he is well above average though and been in my top 10 p4p for a while now
