Robberies which had a huge impact on the sport

Not everything but something as clear as kov the champ clearly beating ward and ward getting the nod is a robbery, that never happens to the champ.Comment

The thing is I didn't think either Ward Vs. Kovalev or GGG Vs. Jacobs were entirely close, they were competitive fought rounds that required the best out of the dominant fighter, but we could clearly see who was in control.
It truly does help being an establishment fighter, just look at bodybuilding and other sports that don't have the popularity of boxing, those foreign guys have no chance ever beating the Yank, you can only be thankful they got the decision right and didn't go with robbing GGG.
If Jacobs did what GGG did I'd have been gutted, but I would have gracefully admitted he was the better man, sad others can't follow by example.Comment

without reading any comments, i have to deal with the ''robbery'' part. its been said many times a CLOSE FIGHT aka ONE THAT COULD GO EITHER WAY doesnt qualify. so i will completely ignore the nail-biters.
pac* vs timmy 1, dlh* vs tito, ramirez/jcc vs pea*, hagler* vs antou come to mind.
*=got robbed
the robbery that effected the sport the most ?
pac vs timmy 1. iirc, the sport conducted an investigation. it had a bigger effect on timmy. he was getting death treats and was suicidal.Comment
