Baldo was way more popular at the time. Made the cover of Ring Magazine (BO before oscar). Cheat was a nobody coming off a loss 2 fights ealier at that time. Bald had like ALL the belts but didn't pay I believe IBF fee for theirs. Dumb FKN fans don't remember that sht. Cheato became popular 1-2 years later.

Yeah Margarito was coming off a loss to Daniel Santos. But he kinda got a pass because it was at 154. And he would soon lose to Paul Williams at 147. So I really don't understand how Margarito was such a must fight for Floyd at the time.

Oscar is full of BS! When he first took back the lead position of GBP, it was "i just want to bring the fans the best fights". Everyone can see now that Fk head was and is full of that BS.

He was gifted a vacant wba belt also which forced him to fight jacobs. Funny How canelo is still the lineal champ,as lil g has yet to beat a single legit champ. He negotiated with jacobs for many months & delayed purse bid for a 4 million $ fight,yet vs canelo (who was testifying in court in a trial he lost millions in), he forced a 10 day deadline,forced it to be @ 160 then assumed that canelo would give him 40% or go to purse bid(of 55-45)rather than vacate his belt he legitimately won vs the lineal champ, but canelo vacated because the belt which allowed gstring to force purse bid in first place was a gifted vacant belt he was given for this crooked org to get $$$ & because only an imbecile would give this unproven hypejob almost half,in a fight he didnt deserve to demand to begin with considering he was a gifted vacant belt holder,& clown ggg wanted him to concede to ALL his demands with no leverage other than his gifted belts.

Loeffler said flat out he received Oscar offer and has NEVER disputed the details or the amount. That's all the source you need.

he said he received the offer,but he hasnt said he refused it. He said hes negotiating still & their going well. Ggg also has done interviews where he admitted it,someone posted it a while back. Use google & youtube or wait until I find it.

It's on K2 to provide proof it's not correct. Golden boy said they sent an offer K2 said they received. Got a problem with it blame K2 for not denying it. But beware once they do likely gone see fax copies or text messages exposing lying Loeffler just like saunders just did. I think all the parasite alphabet groups should be abolished, and we should have ONE champ per division! As it stands though, obviously, the goal is to collect them all in a given weight class. Your missing the point,the point is nobody cares about paper belts if they warnt won from an elite opponent. You also CLEARLY missed when giginas trainer made a press conference to say they will duck jacobs for life, & will move up to fight bums at 168 now that the competition is better @ mw & g cant continue fighting cans as charlo,jacobs& canelo will whip that ass.
You also missed the part where gigi had a chance for yrs to fight Jr. But chose bums instead,or the part where gigi said hes a small mw when asked why he came so close to losing against a guy nobody gave a chance,whom most thought beat him.
You forget Chavez Jr is one of dozens on the huge list of near misses that fanbois claimed ducked lil g even though they were willing to fight the lineal champ.
