I like Lomachencho, perhaps my favorite current fighter, but what does floyd vs Castillo have to do with anything really? There are literally hundreds of close decisions that you could pick from. I get tired of people trying to magically pretend Castillo won...he didn't. It will go down in history as a win, nothing will change it...no amount of whining, b1tching, complaining, nothing will change it EVER. Floyd is undefeated, and that's all there is to it.

I'd like to see him in with a top rated rugged guy before going overboard

Loma is the goods...he has to prove his greatness in time
Yea fair enough...i'm just tired of hearing about his loss to salido...it was his 2nd fight and it was by split decision. If he got beat up and KOd, then I'd understand the criticism. This whole...once you lose you're damaged goods thing that's often perpetuated by mayweather fans is annoying. Even floyd arguably lost in his career, he was just fortunate enough for the decision to go his way. Loma is building a nice body of work for someone with less than 10 fights. People should be glad he jumped straight to high level opposition, or else we'd be watching him destroy mismatches on undercards if we even got to see him on tv at all.

Cosign on both of those. There are a contingent of mayweather fans who's argument for mayweather's greatness begins and ends with the 0 though.

His greatness had many aspects, but ultimately the ability to adjust to whatever was in front of him and win was imo what made him the best. Couple that with speed, amazing defense, conditioning, reading opponents moves, reflexes, strength, I would say excellent chin, though he wasn't hurt very often, and very, very underrated heart. All are what make him an ATG.
