...i mean people are acting like beating Martinez and the guys Loma beat is some ground breaking stuff when Mikey trounced Salido and Martinez years..also picked a title in a 3rd division this year

people seem to forget he lost to a fighter mikey dominated.

Mikey barley mentions Crawford b
Mikey turned pro at 126 and won titles at 126 and 130

Loma also fought in the amatuers as a lightweight....its not like he'd be dwarfed by Garcia, who fought most of his career at 130 and lower.

mikey has discussed fighting crawford after he cleans up at 135....you mention Loma just moved up but forget 140 would be mikey's 4th division...it works both ways bro...

Agreed. He doesn't like Loma fighting a bigger guy, so he brings up Mikey fighting a guy who is inevitably going to become a welterweight before long.

Besides, it's not like Mikey is asking Loma to do anything. I've seen him talk about Loma 3 times and each time it was someone asking him "Would you fight Loma?". Garcia gave the same answer each time.
It's Loma who has been talking shyt with that ******, "Salido was about to take over" talk. He sounded like an NSB troll there.

imo...i like both fighters but Garcia sparks him out

i usually go with the slicker boxer but Garcia isnt your typical puncher...he has all around skills and is versatile...he knows he wont outbox him, he'd go in there trying to take him out.

you cant let a fighter like Loma dictate the pace of the fight, and too much space.

I started favoring Loma but it appears Garcia is back, and back with a vengeance. I'm still close to 50/50 but starting to lean toward Garcia. It's the power, precision, experience. It also comes down to Loma's chin. If he turns out to be rugged then he'll out-point Garcia. I have a feeling that Garcia will catch him enough times to slow him a little, then the power difference between the two will really come into play.

Regardless, it's the #1 fight I want to see right now. Two of my favorite boxers.

I don't think to that at all...many were saying walters would ko lomachencho, he completely schooled Russell, who imo is highly skilled...the guy's had 8 pro fights...it's not about that they have beaten or lost to similar opponents, but who was Garcia fighting in his 2nd fight? While Garcia beat salido, was salido on weight? How much did he outweigh Mikey by?

Mikey's first 2 pro fights had a total of 0 wins and 4 losses.

Mikey's first 8 fights had opponents with a total of 34-54-1. Out of those 8 opponents only 1 had a winning record of 2-0-1. His 9th opponent was 12-40-4.

Mikey is notorious for coming in two weight classes bigger on the day of the fight. No doubt he enters the ring at 150 or better. If Loma goes up too quickly he loses some of his power and speed advantage. He will need to be on his toes the entire fight giving angles and countering.

I still see this as an even fight at 135. Loma is the same height or an inch taller than Mikey, but Garcia is a very large "135" because he drains himself to get there. Garcia can easily compete at 140, but he won't make that move until Crawford moves up.

Garcia weighed 142 to Martinez' 139 for their fight

Loma should have destroyed an out of shape Salido.
