    Kovalev vs. Marciano

How would you see this fight going?

Marciano, with the advantage in power and stamina.

Or Kovalev, with the advantage in size and skill.

Kovalev would outbox him and knock him out
Marciano was primitive compared to Kovalev

You know this is actually a good fight. Because Marciano is actually a rehydrated Light heavyweight, which he always maintain the weight of 184, which is normal for a Light heavyweight. On power Marciano has but Sergey got the skill. I would pick Kovalev to win by 12 round UD.

sergey has a better shot than most will admit and he is virtually the same size as rock....too bad kov has no inside game

he gets stopped late.....marciano gets stronger as the fight goes on and has taken shots from decent heavyweight punchers

Kov will be up on points and stopped around 10-12

kovalev is only effective from long range. in the pocket hes trash. if marciano works his way in he'll slaughter kovalev. rockys chin was made of steel. kovalev only inside move is headlocks. and marciano will not tire out like kovalev did vs ward. rocky throws punches from everywhere. nonstop.

I like Kovalev, he's a good fighter and fun to watch. He is not a great fighter though in my opinion. As pointed out he has no inside game and he tires late when the heat is on. What would he do against a non stop pressure fighter ****ing the body and head for 15 rounds and hits harder than anyone he's ever faced? My guess is he gets stopped in 10. He'd have his spots outboxing Marciano, but the constant pressure would wear him down.

I think a more interesting fight would be against the Dwight Muhammad Qawi who stopped Saad Muhammad. Qawi wouldn't hit as hard as Marciano, but he was a buzzsaw just the same.

I think Kovalev would win a hardfought decision, but if anyone gets stopped in that fight, it's NOT Marciano...

I don't see it. He's not a better boxer than either Charles or Walcott when they fought Rocky, and he doesn't have the experience against a fighter who pressures or can hit like Rocky.
