I think they should only recognise it if the WBF, WBU, IBO, IBC and ABCDEFG are abolished

In fact, if I'm not mistaken, the Ring Championship is the only title Tarver has right now, and nobody on the planet debates that he is the recognized Light Heavyweight Champion of the world.
Asolutely right.......And Johnson/Tarver I was a great example of two fighters basically saying **** you Alphabet ****ers we are the 2 best LHW in the world and we are fighting each other take your ****ing trinket and shove it up your ass.More fighters need to do this and I think will in the future.

its kind of lame that i could buy the exact same belt from their magazine.

i don't think we need another abc belt. plus, its not like they don't have a history of corruption themselves.

if it ever does get recognized and and as famous as the other abc belts i can easily invision the ring magazine asking for sanctioning fee because of some bs or another.

i follow boxing....the only sport i follow and all this different champions from the same organization confuses the heck out of me. it becoming way confusing.

I said no because there are already to many belts out there, it will be a tougher to unify belts if theres lik 5/6 of them. Plus there will be to many champions. Belts are getting more meaningless it seems.

A world champ should be exactly that, a world champ!!!! I've always thought it crazy that you can have lots of guys as WORLD CHAMPS in one division.... Its getting hard to realize who is the best in any particular division..

As long as people are benefitting by making money off the alphabet soup organization's then I doubt people will take money outta there pocket's even if it's what the public wants. The only way they'll change is when they can no longer gain profits from it, just like they'll keep making fight's PPV as long as people keep buying them.

Yeah exactly my point, even hardcore fans find it hard. To much money is being made by sancitoning bodies for them to go away.

The only way I see them being taken out is IF an Absolute undisputed #1 P4P guy who has unified atleast 3 belts in 1 weight class and 1 or 2 other top fighters drop there belts, refuse to pay outlandish sanctioning fees and take up the Ring Belt instead. That would add credibilty to whatever belt the champ had and take away the credibilty of the alphabet belts...

what i wanna know more is...

Will the Ring Belt ever be REDESIGNED????

that thing looks awful, like a kid made it from his scrap pinata material

If it looked decent and manly, may help it be recognized more.
