Low numbers are never anything to celebrate.

But they are a legit topic of discussion for fans of the sport who are being told that a fight is not being made because one fighter feels he deserves more.

When said fighter has a fight that has sale numbers that say different it's fair game.

But yeah, I aint gonna lie...

It IS a nice side perk that his fanboys have to expose themselves as hypocrites by panning one fighter's sales then giving props to their idol for doing the same damned thing.

Pretty amazing that an end of the road Manny Pacquiao can still nearly triple the PPV numbers of a Golovkin fight fighting guys like Jessie Vargas

ggg need to do what floyd did.. become a crossover star. go on wrestlemania, do talk shows, make a ****o man do something .. you can't just rely on knockouts. that sht worked for tyson because people genuinely thought mike was a serial killer. ggg needs to expand his profile.

That's because Pacquaio is a real star and draw. Same as Floyd.

Rewind a few years and people were considering 900k to be a flop for Floyd and 600k a flop for Pacquaio because newer fans were used to them doing 1 million+ every time. Which in reality is juat ridiculous for a 6-8 year period.

I mean, as recent as 2015 fans considered 500k for Floyd-Berto as terrible numbers and some remidials on here considered it the "worst numbers ever"

          Those days are over.

What do you laugh at? if you actually read the article, he said that the 1000 e-mails he sent were to people just to know if they were buying the fight.... not 1000 e-mails sent trying to get information from cable companies or whatever.

But if you dont consider his numbers legit just be consistent and dont use his numbers for other fighters...
Read the posts you are quoting man... I said that the e-mails were sent prior to the fight, why do you correct me on that if I said it?

If we take his numbers for granted, then we should take that Canelo-Khan did 400-450k, Canelo-Smith did 200k etc.

This fight was also sold by streaming and sold around 10-20k.

I only took a basic statistic course, but 1000 random emails asking if they will buy the PPV is not a reliable method lol.

Sample size is way too small and you dont know if his sample is in any way representative for the base.

Another time when Glaser was asked how he gets his numbers, he said that he collects activities on his facebook feed, wtf.

The numbers given by HBO and the promoters are probably inflated, but I dont know why people think Glaser is a reliable source for PPV numbers.

Dumbazz then GGG drew 97k. Either way if we take glaser numbers as gospel for both fighters then khan fight did 4x GGG and a fight with no name smith did more then double. And I brought up streaming ppvs for canelo that were not included in ppv numbers by cable providers all last year and idiots like you brushed it off. Now GGG just used the same exact service canelo has been using for years...Ring TV (owned by oscar). Now you care about streaming buys? when GGG had to pay oscar to use it. LMAO

If you want to add 10-20k off live stream ppv buys then OK add ATLEAST 50-60k off stream PPV sales for each of canelo last 2 fights and oscar and canelo didn't have to split that money. Oscar is K2 daddy they had to pay him for every ppv sold on Ring TV. LMAO

No matter how you twist the numbers GGG loses this debate.

most ggg fans have been using those numbers, so they should also use the 97k and 110k given by glaser.... dont you agree??

If you compare 200k to 110k, you see that Golovkin deserves a split.
