If he's not, he backs out of the Kazakhstan date (likely shows up for a sitdown interview, while a smaller fight card gets put on featuring Kazakh fighters), finally signs to fight Alvarez for a massive payday, and settles to fighting twice a year for however much longer he wants to even bother fighting (I doubt that he's all that excited in the possibility of fighting Jacobs again, or watching young bucks like Jermall Charlo, Derevyanchenko, Chris Eubank Jr, and others come on form).

The Jacobs fight simply confirmed the holes that fighters have been seemingly whispering at since the Rosado fight.

Hey Saunders! I wouldn't be in such a rush to get totally destroyed just for a bigger payday. I figure it will take about halfway through the first round when you realize getting hit by GGG is SO much different than the fighters you've fought up to this point. Hopefully you it isn't to bad of a beating

ima get hella hate for this haha
GGG wasn't forced to fight Jacobs. He gave him more than his mandated split to get the fight made.

I bet you were singing a different tune about bjs back when ducknelo and fishnets were trying to secure a fight with him by making ginger the mandatory to his belt and asking him to be on the smith undercard.

                1) Golovkin was never going to see anywhere near that much on an Alvarez fight, and to lay that out as a marker is silly.

2)if the rumors about the money being put up for Kazakhstan are true, the unification route won't end up being for a bad penny either; $10m to fight at home, a truly sellout event at MSG for the Jacobs rematch on PPV, and then a big HBO defense against another mandatory challenger.

Jacobs-Alvarez-December fight and Jacobs-Saunders-JacobsII-December fight, from the outside looking in, would likely put the same amount of money in Golovkin's pocket.

You act as if Jacobs had no money backing him, lol. More than the mandated split (more of the guaranteed money heading to Jacobs than even the initial change in purse bid ask) was the price of keeping the fight on HBO and not having Golovkin risk being stripped of his oldest trinket.

Lets see how this end by end of this week.
It's put the flomos at this site in a bind too.

They were all geared up for the "GGG is ducking Canelo" campaign.

Now they might need to switch that to "GGG said he wanted all the belts, so why's he ducking BJS?"
