His reason for fighting Berto was an easy farewell fight. No doubt about that. Berto would still be seen as a real test for any other WW, but he is a gatekeeper.

Apparently, Floyd made Showtime enough money fighting Canelo and Pac so they didn't care who he fought or how much they lost for his last fight. Still, disappointing to see such a talent go out with such a stinker, no doubt about it.

Bearing in mind that Floyd is now 40 years old and hasn't fought in nearly 2 years. That's a long layoff for someone his age.

It's not a fight I would want to see, not sure why Mayweather keeps talking about GGG. He clearly doesn't want to fight him so why keep mentioning him?

Because Floyd knows it'd be great to have GGG on his resume. Floyd knows he'd be up there with PAC, srl, Duran and Ali. But Floyd doiesnt want such potentially hard fight nowadays. But by saying ng he could beat him it is subconsciously in our heads that Floyd's not inferior. Floyd will do anything to getb that little extra credit

Its debateab!e whether f!oyd beat PAC. Srl beat Duran twice doesn't mean he's greater. Douglas beat tysdon, doesn't mean he's greater.
Win titlkes in 8 divisions than we can talk. Pac did all the hard work and floyd thinks he can get the glory by beatin g the man who did all the donkey work. Be underdog and see if you perform better than we think you will then we can better guage floyd.
