Retired former five division world champion Floyd Mayweather Jr. (49-0, 26 KOs) was not impressed by last Saturday's performance from IBF, IBO, WBC, WBA middleweight champion Gennady Golovkin (37-0, 33 KOs). Golovkin was taken the twelve round distance for the first time in his career, when he won a close unanimous decision over mandatory challenger Daniel Jacobs (32-2, 29 KOs) at New York's Madison Square Garden.
