I had GGG by 1, the knockdown, first time around. This time I watched the fight by myself, no distractions, etc. It was a competitive fight, but it was not really that close. Jacobs looked flashy at times, but he wasn't landing. The bulk of his punches were hitting gloves, forearms, or air. The major difference in the fight was that power jab of Golovkin. He landed it all night long. I think most people, including myself, were guilty of giving Jacobs rounds because he did better than expected. If you remove that bias from the fight and watch closely you can plainly see he wasn't landing too much, was on his backfoot much of the fight, was outlanded in, I believe, 9 of 12 rounds. He was knocked down in the fourth, and visibly buzzed a few other times. With still giving the very close rounds to Jacobs I came out with 115-112 for Golovkin. Could be a larger spread if you give a swing round or two to Golovkin. Understandably, Jacobs manager has a large bias here. But talking trash after they beat your guy fair and square, paid him more than he technically deserved, and helped raise his profile, is pretty low.
Agreed... I re-watched the fight last night and realized that initially I gave a few rounds to Jacobs because he was outperforming expectations.

One thing is for sure, there wont be an immediate rematch...
We know he's not getting Saunders and Canelo. And I think there's a solid chance he gets neither.

QUOTE=Jsmooth9876;17542793]Ward has a rematch clause to honor, Jerkoff.

Go back to the kids table and let the adults talk.[/QUOTE]

You fanbois were claiming that if he retired instead if the money didnt make sense, that he was a coward. You are the child who CLEARLY loves gstring so much that anyone or anything thats perceived as a threat to his self glorification instantly becomes a enemy. You g fans act like militant fanbois who spend all day online trying to seek & destroy anyone who questions this 35 yr old no resume having hypejob. He wants all the belts supposededly yet he sure wants to pick on smaller fighters like canelo & brook in between. He wants to be the 1st paper trinket champion to never win a single title legitimately off an actual champion. Lemeiux never defended the vacant trash ibf trinket he was gifted. He forced a rediculous purse split of 55-45 w 10 day mandatory deadline vs canelo yet vs jacobs he negotiated for many months to avoid purse bid. He robbed jacobs for his "belt" too. He now wants saunders in kazakistan so if he loses hell rob him too. He had the audacity to post a twitter pic bragging about his new gifted belt. He STILL has not beaten an actual champion, hes willing to fight bums & c listers at any weight, but can never negotiate successfully vs non b list fighters. He made rosado move up in weight AFTER hed gotten whooped 5x by tiny bums, he made 5'9" lil brook jump up 13 lbs WEEKS AFTER saying canelo fighting a ww is a disgrace to boxing. You fanbois new excuse is crying about jacobs outweighing him on fight night, yet g weighed 169.5 on morning of fight, & surely rehydrated further afterwards,so by your fanboi logic he should fight at lhw, oh I forgot his opponents should check with him 1st before rehydrating to make sure hes not lighter.

Going back rewatching a fight is fine. But you're always gonna always see a different fight from the fight you watched live. I thought Kovalev beat Ward the night of the fight. On the rewatches, I've never scored a Kovalev victory. Its just how it is

if jacobs wants it again, they should force him to fight in a tiny ring like they did with murray

Jacob's didn't get KO'd and won a few rounds but to say he won or deserves a rematch based on that is a stretch .

He outlanded ggg in power shots majority of rds,and total power punches. Ggg is supposededly the boogie man yet was scared all night to throw anything but jabs & search for the one ko punch. Ggg was scared of jacobs power,& jacobs should have won 8 rd to 4 it wasnt even that close considering g the supposededly monster power puncher was the one doing what losing fighters do jab & get countered by hooks. Jacobs deserved to win by 2 or 3 pts including the kd.

And what's with Keith Connolly? In an interview with TBV, he admitted he's not Jacob's actual manager anymore, he gave that up to Haymon. Dude's a parasitic cuckhold, he's not making the decisions.
Jacobs wants a quick rematch before he is forced to to go the CW division

I saw the fight for the first time yesterday. Extremely tough fight to score. I personally had it either a draw or GGG by 1pt because of the KD. Jacobs did much better than anyone expected. Myself included. GGG seemed hesitant to commit to his usual seek and destroy approach but still landed some nice shots throughout the fight as did Jacobs.

There were no losers in my eyes. A rematch is warranted.

Those saying that Jacobs was robbed are saying so due to Jacobs doing better than expected given the fact that he was the underdog going in and was facing a perceived "killer" who wasn't able to dispose of Jacobs as he's done with previous opponents. Because he did better than expected doesn't mean he won.

The only fighters & fans who complain about rehydration weight are the losers. Boxing has for ages had day before weigh ins so fighters dont die in ring, they make them have 30 day & 7 day weight checks to make sure they are safely losing weight & not all at once. Either you come in at 160 or you dont,of course whatever g weighs is the most allowed according to his fans.
