I think kovalev will want to prove a point m8 in this one
Your right I don't care about the who is A-Side and who is B-Side BS. I just want to see them fight!

Kovalov winning??? I could see that. But man he has to work on that stamina better. He was stumbling around like a drunk in round 11. Almost even fell through the ropes??? He would of went down if they didn't hold him up.

I take it you got Kovalov winning by decision??? Since it would be a rubber match. I highly doubt Ward would fight again if he got KTFO??? That's what I'm going to bet on... The over 11 1/2 rounds or whatever it's at?

I was talking about ward vs kovalev. If that can't be sold to fans, there isn't much left in boxing that can be. Aside from canelo, boxing is all out of ppv stars atm...so if big marquee fights can't sell, then maybe the ppv model needs to be reconsidered.

Yeah i have kovalev with a decision.....ward is a tuff fighter to knock out in my opinion..he is resilient and crafty and i think he knows how to survive....the stamina issues i agree but i think if kovalev uses his jab and work from mid to long range he wont tire so quickly because in the first fight he got drawn into wards fight and that doesnt suit him....i think there will be a rubber match with it being 1-1 ...glad its happening

Well SAID! And all that holding must of worn him down also?? Ward does know how to survive??? I give him that. He surprised the sht out of me. I thought he was DONE in the 1st few rounds. I had Kovalov winning but wasn't mad at all when Ward got it. It was a tale of two fights! Kovalov won the 1st half and Ward the 2nd.

I'm buying the fight. They can have my $60-70 for the rematch. I usually make that back in free food and drinks anyways.

SHT!!! Thanks! I forgot.... Gonna have to add Showtime to Hulu for it. $7.99 beats $15 a month from cable provider. I'll cancel it next month until next fight on.

I've got chavez canelo right at 700-1 million. Why would some guy from fuggin kazakhstan be able to sell more than 2 name fighters like canelo and a legends last name CHAVEZ? That makes no sense. Golovkin CAN NOT SELL PPVS! The end

For a fraction of the price to pay Chavez.
because I understand contracts, and I can do simple math.

First off, ANY guarantee that high is suspect, because its not Golden Boys money. Golden Boy and Canelo have an 80-20 net revenue split. Do you REALLY believe that Canelo would be willing to take a pay cut and pay GGG from his own pocket if the event underperformed? Do you really believe that? Because after the guaranteed purses and expenses are paid, GBP and Canelo split the net 80-20, so think about that for a second

Secondly, lets assume for a second the guaranteed revenue is actually guaranteed. In order to guarantee THAT kind of money, Golden Boy would have to hedge by maybe limiting rematch revenue to GGG, or demanding options, or something that would let them recoup if the event lost money. They are not a 501C3 and are not in the business of losing money.

And thirdly, lets continue to assume that the guaranteed revenue is actually legit. Then WHY ON EARTH would GBP be so opposed to dropping the guarantee amount and switching to a revenue split? In MY opinion, GGG would net LESS than $15 million on a revenue split, based on my own personal estimates of what the event would likely do. But it seems both GBP and K2 think the potential is there for it to do much better, or neither side would be taking their current positions. Why would GBP be willing to pay $15 million, if a revenue split would likely only mean $10-11 million to GGG? Can you explain that? Do they like GGG enough to just give him $4 million for the **** of it?

                      Cmon man, use your head.
