They're not good, but in the context with the recent ppv market, it's not that bad either. It's a sad state of affairs when the top 2 p4p fighters in the sport barely break 150k. That was a ppv caliber fight and barely anyone bought it.

horrible compared to what? GGG vs an opponent the HBO audience didn't know sold more PPVs than kovalev-ward, which HBO spent a year straight building up.

would canelo have sold more against jacobs? sure. canelo probably would have sold 275-300k tops.

nobody is dis*****g that canelo is a bigger star than GGG. but GGG is still one of the biggest stars in the sport. in terms of active fighters, only pacquiao, canelo & cotto are bigger PPV draws.
