That poll was open to the entire world not just America. The Khan fight was also hyped a lot more than Smith, it was marketed as a big fight, tell the casuals it's a big fight and they'll believe you. @ Khan is a draw in America.

the same, People knew who Khan was, and going tru your logic, after the Chavez Jr fight which we know will sell, just because it's an all Mexican bout, but with who will Canelo sell the most PPV? Don't you think Boxing fans are getting tired of the soft matchmaking with Canelo? I know people say the same with GGG, but GGG has won against all MW that has been put in front of him, people will say they are cab drivers, c class fighters, that he should have fought Ward, but in the MW division he is #1 and has blasted tru competition like no other boxer has, except the lemieux vs stevens one, trying to unify all the belts, something not many have done plus trying to break the most defenses, after that happens, I don't think he will have too much success in the SMW due to he is not a big MW and due to age.

The time is now, no other fight will be more lucrative than Canelo vs GGG and we all know it will be competitive, DLH should stop protecting the kid and trow him against people his size and with true talent. If Canelo wins, he will shut up all the talkers and will be considered as a true great, if he loses, DLH will know how to bring him back and make him a force in Boxing like he did after the Mayweather fight.

I am disgusted with De La Hoya, and some of the "fans" on this forum..

Does anyone know what the PPV numbers were for Kovalev-Ward? You don't because It wasn't a pay per view fight. It was an HBO fight. It was the biggest & most important fight in several years.

Since when do we grade the level of the boxer based on PPV's. Since when do we grade the quality of the fight by PPV's?
