Regardless of what GGG's fanboys claim, Oscar is right on this one. Fighting in June makes absolutely no sense if they're wanting to do a superfight in Sept. All this wanting to fight 3-4× a year stuff is silly anyway. GGG isn't a prospect. Pretty much every top fighter fights twice a year. Maybe if GGG promoted his fights a lil more. He'd do better in terms of PPV buys.

Yup unheard of for the B side to be starring a career payday a super fight and then telling the A side no I just want to dink around and squeeze in a small fight right before that will you just wait and hope I don't suffer an injury or any set back? If he takes that ****** fight and loses the Sept canelo fight has no one to blame but himself. FYI he lost time last year because of K2 playing games with Jacobs has nothing to do with canelo. Fought in Sept had a Dec HBO date but negotiations dragged on for months as he nickel and dimed Jacobs and he lost the date and fight pushed back to march. If he fights in June and even if he's healthy who is to say k2 doesn't drag their feet in negotiations like they did with Jacobs and cost canelo his Sept date. K2 are a bunch of amateurs prioritizing this dumb June date over the money and opportunity to fight canelo. SMH

And I believe Chavez is going to give Canelo a war and that a rematch is locked for September regardless of what Golovkin does. GGG's real choices after Saunders will be either to keep his IBF & WBO belts and make those weak mando's, rematch Jacobs, or fight someone else like Rameriz/DeGale/Eubank.
If Charlo beats Heiland for WBC mandatory position, this will be an interesting fight for GGG. I would like to see it above Jacobs rematch. Mainly for the reason that I doubt Jacobs will be a middleweight any longer.

I disagree, I think Jacob's new team has made him making the 160lbs limit much easier, allowing him to enjoy a distinct size advantage at MW, where at SMW he loses that size advantage. I'm expecting Jacobs/Lee at 160 later this year.

Yeah I'd love a Charlo/GGG fight, but like I mentioned in the other thread, I think the WBC/WBA are combining their mando's and may make Charlo fight the winner of N'Dam/Murata (after Heiland in May).

I'm not sure what Golovkin's going to do after BJS. I think Canelo/Chavez are going to rematch in September, and GGG has IBF mando (Johnson) and WBO mando (Langford/Khurtsidze). Abel said GGG will drop his titles after BJS, so Idk what's after BJS in not Canelo.
