If GGG can finally get BJS in the ring, he needs to do so asap. Regardless of how we believe that the belts have been devalued, we haven't had one fighter with every belt (WBC,WBA,WBO,IBF,IBO) in a long time. It's not like Canelo is going anywhere.

Think about it like this: it's possible that we could get GGG vs. Canelo for the undisputed and lineal championships this year. GBP should not get in the way of GGG/BJS because it will make GGG/Canelo more significant.

They should pursue that WBO belt at all costs now. If Canelo doesn't want to fight this year then he can rematch Jacobs
Loeffler has basiscly stated they are gonna make the Saunders fight because the canelo fight is a big if,and their main objective is the keep GGG active and have him become the undisputed middleweight in the world

Canelo hurt his wrist vs Liam Smith and had to pull out of his December fight. I remember Canelo had to cancel his HBO re-debut vs Joshua Clottey because he injured his ankle. Canelo is the fragile one here. Golovkin's never had injuries to hold him back.

And I believe Chavez is going to give Canelo a war and that a rematch is locked for September regardless of what Golovkin does. GGG's real choices after Saunders will be either to keep his IBF & WBO belts and make those weak mando's, rematch Jacobs, or fight someone else like Rameriz/DeGale/Eubank.

Good post, every other fight will become more important against whoever holds all the belts,it's for middleweight supremacy

There's no defense for GGG fighting in June. Take some time off, get your mind right and wait until September if Canelo wins. If Chavez gets the upset, fight Saunders.
