Do compare things boxers did in the past. We are talking about the present moment, Active fighters. Mikey just had two fights vs nobodies. When he fights top level competition and wins he will be at the top. If we compare things boxers did in the past, Cotto> Mikey Garcia in the current pound for pound list.

majority of boxing press had Kov winning fight ....Ward gonna have to beat Kov convincingly to get cred .

Who did GGG beat? Jacobs, who is not even in the P4P list. Who beat Chocolatito the ex-P4P king? Rungvisai the new king of boxing.

There is a reason Salido dodged that rematch.

yep, who cares what happened back then, under that particular set of circumstances

if ALL things were equal (BOTH fighters naturally the same size), and they fought now..... who would win

also, not meaning Loma/Salido..... but losing to one particular fighter because of style, does not remove you from the list if you likely clean out the rest..... it is across the board, not strictly head-to-head

            GREAT point !

I still got chocolatito up there, and Kovalev

Kovalev top five p4p, feared, ducked, undefeated, prime. a guy even Mayweather advised Ward to stay away from.

Jacobs. 2nd best at 160 but that's not saying too much since that division is not deep. nowhere near a p4p list.

Rungvisai. a guy with a padded record who nobody knows a damn thing about.

Ward p4p best no matter how you slice it.
Yes and Ward has fought one decent fighter in 5 years, a very decent one tough.
And most people thought he lost.

That what you can call a robbery, when you won on cards BUT most people (see polls) thought you lost, people and writers from your fckin own country.

Ward doesn't deserve to be P4P number one.

That thai guy was a solid dude, choco fighting at superfly is like Ward fighting at 200.

Let's see how can Ward manage a lefty cruiser like Glowacky.

Choco has been beating top dudes in 4 divisions over the last years while Ward was drinking sodas in Okland and fighting the Brand of the world.

                1) Ward
                2) Rigondeaux
                3) Kovalev
                4) Gonzales
                5) Crawford
                6) GGG
                7) Lomachenko
                8) Canelo
                9) Pac
                10) M. Garcia

I put Loma ahead of Garcia but don't think Loma beats Garcia. And after last Saturday I think ZERO ppl think GGG would beat Ward. And his team also knew it.

I try to picture them fighting each other at their best. Man Ward vs. Rig. would be a TERRIBLY boring fight though! out of top 5 GGG probably would beat Gonzales???

I think Crawford would beat GGG if same size and probably make him look ******.

                good list !!

but there are millimeters in it

I wouldn't bet a dollar on your list, or mine

                #P4Pftw

maybe selling Loma a little short ?

then Ward should be #2, and Jacobs #3

And he was more awesome beating them.

The true P4P will be the winner of Loma vs Mickey.

They are above TC P4P, even if TC might beat them but mainly because he's bigger than them.

Walters is a bigger threat than Postol IMO, and Lomo just flew over the arena.

Mickey and Lomo are the two most impressive fighter IMO.
