I think Golovkin stops Martinez. I think Pavlik is a tougher fight for him, because Pavlik moves forward, and may be able to move Golovkin back. I think a prime Pavlik beats Martinez too.

Martinez would have probably taken the fight but Lou himself is a greasy duckmaster, perhaps the ultimate greasy duckmaster in the sport.
Do you think GGG's reputation would've taken a hit like Cotto's for beating an old one-legged man?

GGG beats the Dogg piss outta Martinez... IMO

Vs. Pavlik would be the real fight here. Kelly at his best had that height, reach & great punching power. Let's create a fuggin time machine.

GGG knocks them both out in my opinion. Martinez has nothing but the highest praise for GGG and said about a year ago that GGG was by far the best middleweight,in a class by himself and much better than the rest. GGG's close fight with Jacobs surprised most of us but it doesn't turn GGG into a mediocre fighter. Sometimes a good fighter just has the right stuff to give a great champion more trouble than expected. Norton gave Ali much trouble. Ralph Jones easily beat Sugar Ray Robinson. Castillo and Maidana both gave Mayweather more trouble than expected.
