perhaps it's because the g string ball gaggers continue to tell us shyte like how g string deserves more that 15 million for a Canelo matchup. Then when g strings drawing power is put to the test, he flops and the same ball gaggers don't want to talk about PPV numbers then.

Because, in a world where you don't have a singular body dictating purses to fighters, prize money is split along the lines, relatively speaking, of the share of the money drawn for an event.

To put a fine point on it, Gennady Golovkin's camp have seemingly rejected an eight-figure purse, knowing that Alvarez-Chavez Jr sold out T-Mobile Arena (a bigger venue than MSG), at a higher price point, well in advance of Golovkin's event, which is 2 months ahead of Alvarez-Chavez Jr and didn't even sell out.

For all of the talk about "fighting for the fans", no fighter worth anything is going to step into a fight camp without the money properly split, with attendance, gate, PPV numbers used to find that proper split.

Fact of the matter is posters like OP made an ass out of themselves acting like GGG was some huge draw and making him out to be more then he was..He is a solid fighter, but not some huge star or some ATG..just stop it damn!!!

Because ppv numbers and won/loss records are how they judge fighters. The fans on here know NOTHING about evaluating talent have no clue about Methods & Techniques and never even been in a gym let alone box in their lives.

They can read but refuse to learn the sport as a competitor would. They can say BUM but they have no clue what it means!
