His flash knockdown with vs. Rungvisais ( granted there was contact with his head) made me think for a minute and question his abilities at this stage -- I don't have a problem people not keeping him as #1. but even with what you might consider a L is not enough to remove off top five.
As I recently posted, P4P Rankings are just OPINIONS their is no such think as an OFFICIAL P4P Rankings. So for those who still have Roman P4P #1 on their list that is totally fine. That is why I asked what does P4P Means for others because for ME PERSONALLY I tend to go by more of what B-Hop describes in that video. While others maybe P4P means different and that is fine!

Your essentially saying ' so what its officially an L, ner ner ner ner NER'

Andre Ward is the P4P king. Unless Floyd comes back.

while i thought that was one of the worst robberies i've seen in a minute, i don't think you have to have gonzalez at #` p4p because of the punishment he's been taking in victory lately. i know it's a small guy's division and the lack of power lends itself to two way action and an opponent being "in the fight" but it's my belief that gonzalez looked aged when he got his orbital broken, against cuadras, and again against this thai guy. he's a 29 year old little guy. if you look at the history of those tiny little divisions you'll find that the best fighters have peaked in their early and mid 20's, and are often all done in their 30's.

the matchmaking, two way action, long fights with many rounds, and the nature of a small body peaking early in life all lend itself to a short career in the small weights. gonzalez is a sure fire hall of famer, with or without the L on his record from the robbery, or even from a legit loss. the guy has accomplished a ton and he's been in some real wars. he's without a doubt past his peak.

i expect a rematch, in which he'll fight more cautiously and win, and then a rematch with cuadras in a main event on HBO for a good payday. then hopefully he retires.

if you notice, cuadras looked off as well. those two fought a freakish war. if you land that kind of volume on an opponent in a higher weight class he goes down. the little guys just keep taking the beating.

            WAR ROMAN

Román never was the #1, that was a trick to promoting him in U.S.A.

-He never unified in 4 divisions.

-He is not the more talented fighter. Not top-5.

-Only fought with 3 good rivals in 50 fights, one drained, another that destroyed him(Cuadras) and another than dropped him and won the fight.

-His real weight was 112 pounds, he bullied midgets in 105-108 pounds, actually he can't make the 112 pounds.

-Dude has a very bad defense.

Good fighter, never a great one. And nope, he is not in the top-25 of this generation

This thread is the worst and most ****** of recent years.

              González was exposed so bad.

Regardless of how you saw the fight Roman has an official L on his record. So your whole "my opinion hold a more weight" is out the window because I stated a fact haha.

Again, Roman was coming in at featherweight and close to super featherweight back at 112 and that's why he decided to move up. His body was having issues dropping down to Flyweight. This is all documented. So his height might be shorter than many of the current 115 pounders but that doesn't mean he isn't in his natural weightclass.
              This...

Of fact, the Thai guy has the same height that Roman.

I don't know how you can talk about dodging 'tough fights' when Roman has been in B2B FOTY slobberknockers with extremely tough, bigger men.

                .
                This guy is crazy.

Cuadras needs move up in weight, he has problems to make the 115 pounds, that's why the fight vs Carmona was in 116 pounds. But Gonzalez took his soul hahahaha, Cuadras was taking air like crazy in round 6.

Bigger men? Cuadras was in 129 pounds and Gonzalez in 126 pounds.

                Facts.

Stop crying you are crazy, Gonzalez bullied midgets in 105 and 108 pounds why don't cry about that?

González real weight is 112-115 pounds, like chavez Jr he lost his weight advantage and this is his reality.

i think it's pretty up in the air at this point. lomachenko's the most able fighter in teh world right now IMO, but he doesn't quite have the resume yet to make him a must-pick.

ward kovalev winner would be an easy answer, as those were the two best prime fighters to fight in a long time; but who won? and are they really better than lomachenko right now?

if you held a gun to my head i'd say lomachenko and feel ok about it. well, minus the gun to my head.
