I've felt all along that if Brook goes back to 147 (vs Khan or whoever), he's not going to be the same boxer he was. I doubt his pride will let him miss weight, and getting to 147 again will likely see him as weak as a kitten in there.
After Spence wins, Brook will call it a day on 147 and point to the weight being the issue, and it won't be an excuse, it will be correctly identifying why he can't be competitive at 147 any more (although many will take it as an excuse).
This fight isn't going to be 'prime Brook at 147' vs Spence - that would have been a great fight, what we are going to see won't be so great.
