I've felt all along that if Brook goes back to 147 (vs Khan or whoever), he's not going to be the same boxer he was. I doubt his pride will let him miss weight, and getting to 147 again will likely see him as weak as a kitten in there.

After Spence wins, Brook will call it a day on 147 and point to the weight being the issue, and it won't be an excuse, it will be correctly identifying why he can't be competitive at 147 any more (although many will take it as an excuse).

This fight isn't going to be 'prime Brook at 147' vs Spence - that would have been a great fight, what we are going to see won't be so great.

Again, I'll take Spence, you take Brook. Loser leaves NSB forever. No alts, no BS, just gone. Take the challenge or STFU about this fight.

          Can't wait for this.

It is nice when a mandatory really is high-profile.

Is Spence in his prime too? Sounds like we're getting an even playing field. Brook may be "past prime at 147" and Spence hasn't entered his prime at 147 especially since most people say he's not experienced enough and that he's never faced big punchers. So it sounds like the advantages and disadvantages are fairly even for both fighters.

Already now I see how Brook falls forward.

I think it will not make Brooke weight. Maybe even he will not try very hard, he does not need a belt anymore. I hope Spence secured itself with the appropriate sanctions and a fine of 100 for every extra pound.
