Much respect to GGG, I'v always been a fan but he showed some techniques that I didn't think he had in him. Having said that, I scored the fight 7-5 for Jacobs. I thought Jacobs was the more solid fighter, he ripped GGG with a lot of shots in almost every round and commanded the space in the ring really well. GGG was very stiff, slow and flat footed, and a lot of that was due to Jacobs' movement, size and speed. There was no way HBO was going to le this fight go to Jacobs in 12. By the way watch the end of the 11th round, keep an eye on GGG's legs right when the ref brakes them, and also as he walks to the corner.

Good fight and if Jacobs had fought the first half like he did the second, it would be a UD clearly in his favor. I had it 116-112 for GGG.

I checked the BS Live Scorecard midway through and thought.... what fight were they watching? Early rounds were uneventful until the knockdown, so I just asked myself "who is fighting their fight?" or "who has greater control of the round?"

In the end I had it 116-112 for GGG. Had the fight began at round 6, or had it been a 15 round fight, Jacobs would likely be the winner. A UD being a "robbery" isn't unheard of, but it's really hard to argue with 3 independent judges.... especially when I saw what they saw.

I had him by 2 rnds. I didn't like the decision overall. Golovkin really looked old in there though. He should stay away from 168. I don't think he wins many fights there tbh.

He beat the snot out of Golovkin. The entire time I was waiting for Golovkin to do something, but all those years of can crushing left him unprepared.

I was ring side, GGG did more than Jacobs. Landed cleaner and effective punches. On camera thats one thing but being there is another. Not sure what yall were watching but danny was just being wild really and wasnt dictating any pace with the ring generalship he lacked, he didnt have a sustained attack like GGG did. GGG is just better, danny was confusing but confusion doesnt score points, or bring you back from a knockdown, Clean effective punches do, plus the Knock down. I say move on, dont fight Jacobs until after you get canelo or Saunders, he had his chance

The judges robbed kovalev. Now they robbed jacobs.

There's no way Jacobs won, though. He neutralized Golovkin from knocking him out, but that doesn't win you championships. He survived and scored points, but Golovkin was comfortable all night and kept Jacobs at bay with his jab.

GGG's jab won him the fight.
What are you talking about? The knockdown was barely legit and even the suits were questioning it with references to balance. Jacobs wasn't surviving, he was dictating the pace and landing combinations. GGG would land a punch and that's enough for the fan boys to give him the round.

GGG's jab didn't win anything. Jacobs was working the jab up and down. Looks like your a roosky fanboy with the Kovalev pic. GGG can't handle slick black fighters that's why he's been feasting on Euro bum flat footed Macklin types.

GGG wasn't comfortable at all, he was actually taken out of his comfort zone and Jacobs dictated the pace which is something GGG usually does. Come on man, get real!
