Honestly, your right. Jacobs fought a helluva fight. Props to him. ggg ain't a hype job, I'm just stirring the pot. But he ain't no killer and he ain't what his fans want him to be. He's just a "solid" fighter, at best.

Canelo defense is million times better then jacobs and one of the best chins as opposed to one of the worst like jacobs. GGG is one dimensional. Canelo is very smart, set traps, fast hands, great combos and body work. He can switch up his attack mid fight me just more skilled. He will confuse and box this hype jobs ears off.

Golovkin wont stand infront of canelo yo be wailed on the body, hell be jabbing him and keeping him at arms length with his feet. Canelo gets outboxed in a boring fight.

Canelo though I think can one up Golovkin by fighting Jacobs, a fight I think he wins by ko by not fighting like a girl.

Golovkin throws a great jab but other than that his punches are slow and telegraphed. He can definitely bother Canelo with his jab but I just can't see him landing anyting else conistently enough.

This dude was hesitant and gun shy against a guy that landed very few solid shots, Canelo is farm more accurate than Jacobs.

Canelo is much more accurate than Jacobs and has the power to stop ggg in his tracks, guaranteed. Much straighter shots than Jacobs and won't be scared to throw em. Better defense than Jacobs and will probably come in weighing the same.

I'm surprised by how limited Golovkin was tonight. I thought of all things, going in kill mode would be his forte. But no he remained as a cautious surgeon looking for shots Jacobs would give him when he made mistakes.

I've watched highlight reels of Golovkin and he was an exceptional attacker. I didn't see any of the amount of shifting I expected would be in his tool belt tonight with Jacobs widening the distance constantly. For a taller guy he should have been throwing over hand rights like Maidana all night. Also where was the body attack?

Beyond that there was no fire in his eyes. He didn't have the temperament as a finisher. Everytime he landed something great (Jacobs of course would make the right moves to de-escalate the situation) he would wind up forfeiting the control back to Jacobs. By resetting and adapting his attack wasting time. He should have never slowed the pace down especially when he landed something of note.

Then again, maybe Golovkin is just old. He had the ring iq to know where he could land pot shots but it never rose above that. I like probably everyone else thought he had the killer mentality to not let Jacobs breathe. All in all with the idea he may be old maybe he isn't the big gorilla he's made out to be. He looked small in there against Jacobs and should have been chopping him down with overhands. Body shots too
