I hope so. He's good. Sometimes, I get the feeling he doesn't know how good he is and how much he can do.

I think he should try MAB again...if that's possible. It's strange that a rematch has not been mentioned with any degree of conviction by people who can make it happen.

well it was stated the barrera did have a rematch clause but its unlikely he will use it do to pac being available..I hope for one also..pac still has two fights before they can even began to nego. A rematch would also help rocky.

A good example of a robbery is if anybody remembers the contendor rematch special where it had Brinkley vs Bonsante... that's a robbery.
            Good post! Karma to you.

Barrera won a close fight IMO.I think 115-113 was a fair score for Barrera.I agreed with every round Lederman had except I scored the 2nd for Juarez.

Experience has it that rematch clauses are exercised by the loser. Example: customarily, if a champion loses his crown in a close contest, he may exercise his right for a rematch as agreed upon in the contract specified by what is called a rematch clause.

Challengers are seldom if ever granted rematch clauses. Challengers are, in theory, supposed to work their way up again after they lose to a champion.

Barrera was defending. He won. He remains champion, at least, with WBC.

Barrios holds the WBO version. We saw what he did to Nagy. One punch (?)and that was it.

I suspect that GBP had Barrios in the undercard to help fan the fire for a meeting with MAB. Unification. I wonder if that is still in the horizon.

I just watched it again, and I think Barrera did enough to deserve the decision, although a draw would have been perfectly acceptable.

No, it was no robbery, close fight, draw was ok too, but its better to see Barrera win, not a convincing victory but a victory nonetheless.

There'd be no robbery either way, but I thought Barrera did enough to win. I think everyone expected Rocky to catch up to Barrera because he looked like the stronger fighter in there for several rounds and Barrera had a few moments where it looked like he was going to give- but he never did and fought Rocky punch for punch in the championship rounds. I think Barrera won 7-5, giving Rocky every benefit of the doubt. There's really no way Rocky won more than 5 rounds.

It's kind of the same scenario as last week, when a fighter is doing better than you expect then you throw out the scoring and start giving him everything because he's impressing you whether he's losing rounds or not. Very similar to Hatton-Collazo that way, although it was a little more difficult to score...Hatton-Collazo was easy.
