Why do you say that? I like Canelo (although I know he's not some all time great fighter)

Either way I see it as irrelevant to the overall context of the fight.
I see it relevant to the bias for and against the fanbase groups of each fighter.

It was their plan all along to gain as much weight advantage as possible

This matters not. Golovkin beats down, and batters top 10 heavyweights, Cape Buffalos, and Elephants in sparring. He hit a Rhino with a body shot, and it crapped itself. Jacobs is doomed.

I'll tell you what is pathetic! At least 80% of the debates come down to double standards based on the RIDICULOUSLY apparent racial bias for or against the fighters! Some people try to cloak their obvious bias in a feeble attempt to debate tiny differences between Lemieux and Jacobs but the fact is both Lemieux and Jacobs did not weigh in the second time and some people will fight to the end why their guy was right and the other guy was wrong - yet, these are the same people in both cases that ALWAYS support one group of fighters because of skin color. You know who you are and you are not kidding ANYONE! How about someone have the balls to just say they favor or dislike a guy because of their skin color, even though we ALREADY know that! AGAIN, anyone who does not favor a guy because of race, creed, or color, SIGN HERE! I know there are some who dont favor a guy because of race, creed, or color, like myself. Go ahead and place your name here! And the rest, stop BULLSHTING with reasons that have NOTHING to do with the core reason why you are debating! No one is THAT ****** not to see through you! This obviously applies to the Lemieux thread about not weighing in the second time as well!

The fact that the weighin was moved to the morning, likely has a bit to do with Jacobs skipping the IBF weigh in. A 9AM weigh in lengthens the time that the fighters have to stay within the 10 pound IBF rehydration limit, by 7-9 hours, if the usual weigh in time is 4-6PM. The IBF, next morning weighin time didn't change to my knowledge. I could see a boxer who was thrown a late minute cureball with an early weigh in, skipping out on the IBF reweigh the next morning.

Or he could just be leaving the IBF belt open for his Haymon stablemate Charlo.
