I see, so Nate Diaz is an Irishcutioner. Got it.

When it came to fighting middleweights in the middleweight division, we all know this about GGG- Martinez ducked him when he was lineal champ, Cotto ducked him when he was lineal champ and Canelo ducked him when he was lineal champ. Saunders didn't want a fight, Andy Lee was interested but fucked up fight Saunders.

Eubank Jr. didn't want the fight and Peter Quillin didn't want the fight unless he was getting Floyd money.

Ward was a non active fighter so his word meant as much as mine. He was a commentator not a fighter.
Martinez never ducked him. Canelo is offering him 5x his highhest payday to fight in September. Cotto chose to fight a much bigger fight with Canelo.

This^^^^^. IMO Golovkin should forget about Canelo. Let GBP come crawling to him. It's just as big a financial windfall for Alvarez as it is for Golovkin. Canelo vacated. Let him earn the right to fight GGG.

Well Nate Diaz got exposed the first round of the first fight and completley in the second fight. But the choking out of McGregor doesn't give him the name.

You have to do it multiple times to different fighters. Not a one and done type of deal.

          GGG's Africutioner hit list
          • Stevens
          • Monroe Jr.
          • Wade
          • Brook
          • Osumanu Adama
          • Jacobs (This Saturday)

I can't understand Canelo point of view.

Ok, he gets money for every fight but a real champion should fight with best ones of his category... and which is Category of Canelo? He continues to change from Middleweight to welterweight, being champion of WBO superwelter that is less prestigious than mentioned ones above.
I would choose Welter and try to get all possible belts in this category.

Mexico is a nation, African Americans are a race. You're being a racist cunt.

Well they say Floyd had no ground work against Conor so that's acknowledging the rules of MMA choking and stopping. In real you can kill a man by doing so if prolonged. Therefore by the rules of the game, Nate Diaz is an Irishcutioner!!

I think you're pretty much on target here with all your points. An interesting tangent though is what would happen to that $15 mil offer if Canelo lost. Would the offer still stand? Would Golovkin get a better split? Would the expected revenues drop sufficiently that both would have to settle for less? Would Golovkin get shunted back? Is there a rematch clause for JCC jr/ Canelo?

All these are potential reasons why it may not have made sense for GGG to sign just yet (and that's without even knowing what other stipulations may have been in GBPs offer), even though to my mind the reported $10 - 15 mil would be a chance Golovkin should jump at in normal circumstances - flat fee or no - given the parlous state of PPVs in the last coupla years.

Good questions! There are a lot of moving parts. If Canelo loses to Chavez Jr., whom most people hold in low esteem, the allure of a Golovkin fight goes out the window. If at the same time, Golovkin destroys Jacobs a PPV fight between GGG and Canelo is out of the question. I agree the refusal to accept a generous flat fee offer now is a bit of mystery given all the risk that is involved.

He's sparred with him more than once, I seriously doubt he's shaking like anything. Canelo could easily land the same shots brook did, but with more damage. I don't think the fight will happen either way because the 3 stooges are too greedy, and Oscar is taking his sweet time trying to pull a Mayweather vs Pacquiao (hey spoon? Manny lost!) even though this fight doesn't even half of the interest this one does.
