i dont get it though, cause they tell me ggg's not beaten anyone of note, but they are so sure the second best middleweight only has a punchers chance? THread after thread i ask them who actually do they think could beat golovkin and it goes quiet, but they pop up saying hes overhyped and overrated. as i keep saying, if hes so overrated, why do these same posters seem to give no other fighter any chance against him? i swear they rate him more highly than i do
A case can be made for canelo but everyone else is B-Level.
Take away someones dislike for golovkin and he is still A-level and better thsan others in his division.. but he genuinely hasnt faced a fighter that tests all ranges of his skillset to the point hes in trouble.
That IS NOT because he's just that good, it's because the 160 division is weak as fuuuuuuuccckkk.
People dont have to give you an answer about who can beat Golovkin, because there isnt anyone apart from MAYBE canelo... but that doesnt mean he is great, it means he is a big dog in a very little pond.
He is overrated and over hyped because his super fans refuse to acknowledge this and just think because the division is weak, he is a superking and the best ever.. which simply isnt true.Comment

i see you are all ducking my question. if golovkins so overrated and hyped, why doesnt jacobs have a chance to beat him? If not, who at 168 or 160 is the guy whos gonna beat golovkin? Cause im confused, how can he be overhyped but you dont seem to give anyone a chance against him?
Froch was honest when asked about the fight, golovkins side claims the offered 168 lbs, but once again, froch's side said that only 166 was offered. Froch admitted that he could not make 168 anymore either. He came back with 172, they declinedX the funny part is that they declined, yet wait around for canelo, when a fight with froch likely would've yielded almost as much if not more money since froch sells out stadiums in england. A p4p fighter would move up 12 lbs to get a payday imo. After all of sanchez' talk about golovkins bs sparring stories, why would you not move up for that fight? 80k people? PPV money, really?
So, like you, golovkin and his people flip flop AFTER saying 154-168 that they will ONLY go to 168 for a big fight. Again, 168 guys should be no problem right? Why not go for a second weight class?
Then golovkin says, he'd move down for Floyd, but not canelo, even though either guy would be the A side. He would make less vs Floyd if you go by what floyds previous opponents have made. Golovkin will do this because it's his "dream fight"...so his dream fight is against a 40 year old, retired for 2 years WW that even in the few JMW fights he's taken, he's never weighed more than 150 or 151...but that's his dream fight? Ok.
All the while, Sanchez, Loeffler, and golovkin have told lie after lie. Now, we should believe him? His career defining fight up until now is brook...all there is to it. His resume is absolutely pathetic after 36 fights...he's trying to break records, taking the easiest fights there is. Jacobs is a good fighter, he's not great, he's not HOF material, but a B level...sadly, Brook got better odds vs golovkin than Jacobs...that alone should tell you something.
Also keep in mind that Golovkin hypocrite was asked by Brooks people for a 157 lb catchweight...it was shot down even though brook was CLEARLY the A side. It was OK to offer Ward 164, froch 166 (note the hypocrisy) and Saunders "life changing money" Which later Saunders said the offer was NOT what golovkins side claimed it was.
So, you tell us all...why is golovkin NOT a hype job palComment

He's overrated because he has NOT proven he wants to prove it. I know you'll to your buddy jubei, but facts are that Golovkin straight DUCKED ward, and them asking for a 164 cw proves that. Ward was having a hard time making even 168, however, golovkins side has admitted to the 164 cw. 1 time he didn't want to prove whether he was hyped or not. HBO has tried to cram him up everyone's ass (you and his other fans gladly take it deep and hard) while some of us are left wondering why he would hav ed moved up by now and challenged DeGale, Jack Ramirez, etc. Instead we get all the guys that Martinez already fought and beat, plus some other losers mixed in. We get a Dominic Wade fight? We get a fight with kell brook? Later on them claiming they WOULD'VE fought DeGale instead of brook, which was highly convenient AFTER already going with the brook fight.

But ive just answered that. He resides in a division with such a limited talent pool.

Groves, the dirrells, Abraham, Degale, ramirez and smith would all be better opposition than what GGG has faced so far in his career so 168 isnt as bad as 160 by a long stretch.
If he beats jacobs on saturday, and then announces a uni against BJS for June then once that fight is over there is absolutely nothing holding him to 160 other than a canelo fight that is PROMISED to happen quickly.
If he doesnt move to 168, and just keeps defending against weak opposition at 160 in the hope a canelo fights materialises by the end of 2018, then he'll go down a hell of alot in my estimations.. undisputed or not.Comment
