Being underrated, and a world class fighter, while still having no chance (because you're fighting a top 3 pound for pound guy in GGG) aren't mutually exclusive concepts.
You can say a fighter has no chance, but also recognize how great of a fighter he still is.
GGG is just that good. I don't necessarily think Jacobs has "no chance." I think he definitely has more than a puncher's chance with the tools he possesses. But still, GGG is just that much of a beast, where I think he dispatches him under 8 rounds without much trouble.Comment

The context was him talking about about how Pac shouldn't be able to do the things he's doing to guys like Cotto along with taking shots. Then he said how his head had grown multiple sizes and referenced his climb through weight classes as illegitimate. In closing talking to his entourage he said his legacy is sealed without Manny Pacquiao and that health comes first. No reason to fight that kind of fightComment

i see you are all ducking my question. if golovkins so overrated and hyped, why doesnt jacobs have a chance to beat him? If not, who at 168 or 160 is the guy whos gonna beat golovkin? Cause im confused, how can he be overhyped but you dont seem to give anyone a chance against him?Comment

You speak truth.
They want to discredit GGG's opponents so bad. Lol but if Jacobs pulls off the upset, which he damn well has the tools to do so, then everybody will be saying "BLACK POWER! HE SLAYED THE BOOGEYMAN! BLACK POWER"!
And tout Jacobs as top-3 p4p..
Jacobs is clearly a world class operator, who is bar-none the best MW in the world after GGG.
But even if GGG dispatches of him, and makes it look easy, all the memes and sig pics of him being "the BUM DESTROYER" will remain, and the hate will continue.
Nothing real boxing fans can do, aside from continuing to mock them, and laugh at them.
And Jacobs should not be THAT big of a 'dog. Appropriate betting odds would be: GGG -380; Jacobs +350. Something along those lines. I think a 3.5:1 favorite is about right for GGG.Comment
