It's not power, necessarily, that wins GGG fights. That's what Lemieux was trying to say after his fight. GGG might not have this explosive one-punch knockout power, mainly because he loads up so much on his punches and hence they slow down. What GGG brings is heavy handedness, those punches eat away at a fighter. Plus, GGG brings strength to a fight. The ability to control his opponent by walking them down, pinning them, walking through shots to land his own. Jacobs is going to have to hurt GGG, I mean properly hurt him, to stop him walking right toward him and unloading.

Or, he could try and outbox him by throwing 1-2's and moving but that's not really worked either, GGG cuts the ring off excellently and seems to have the longest arms when trapping an opponent.

I think you make some very good points. Ggg simply has more tools in the toolbox. And he also knows how to use them effectively. Jacobs is a veteran in his own right and is as good a middleweight as their is the world. But I can't help but think of the versatility of ggg coming into play
