Fact is canelo has made the big fights the fights fans wanted. GGG 35 still making excuses. Stop pretending canelo, cotto, Pacquiao and every other ppv stars cares about these belts. Sorry these stars are bigger then any belt. That's business no belt is going to tell these stars when to fight and give the b side any leverage over them.

You just mad that even with the paper belt he has no leverage over canelo and no big fights. How the tickets selling with jacobs? Canelo sold out more expensive tickets in a matter of days for a fight with no under card that's 2 months away. GGG fighting this weekend but you can still buy 8 tickets in a row anywhere you want. Nobody cares about GGG his ppv going to flop and lose money. Canelo already outdid the live gate for his fight with cotto will probably land somewhere in the top 10 live gate in Las Vegas history and will do maybe 1m ppv buys. Yeah dropping the belt has really hurt canelo and made GGG a star. Lmao
The reason the Canelo fight wasn't made was Canelo wanted to fight for the middleweight titles under 160 pounds. Golovkin said no. Don't blame him. What's the problem with Canelo moving up to 160 to fight for the title like Duran, Leonard, Hearns, Camacho, Pazienza, Sugar Ray Robinson, the list goes on and on. Here is an interesting article that explains the middleweight division moving to different weight classes.

He could have told Jacobs to fuck off so he could have the interim fight, and still fight Jacobs in the exact same date he's already fighting him. We went through this before. Even though I don't agree, GGG put himself in this situation, an it's fair game for Canelo now.

        a typical golov-b1tch perspective

        1) first Mr " 154-168 " refused to fight Canelo at 155
        2) then Mr " businessman " refused to fight Canelo for 15mil

Canelo said " I will fight you at 155 tomorrow "

        Golovkin walked

Canelo conceded on the weight, then offered GGG a FORTUNE

        Golovkin walked

but, you can remember it however makes you happy

We went through it before, when it wasn't clear if Jacobs would sack up. Now that you've been proven wrong, you're still pushing that tired talking point

Team Golovkin actually wanted to fight Jacobs because as Loeffler said in the past...he believed it to be a big a fight that could make money. So yes..they waited on Jacobs for multiple reasons. However that decision has consequences and that consequence is that another one of K2 goals for Trip fighting 4 times in 2017 AND one of those fights being Alvarez is in jeopardy. It may turn out to be a great decision..just like fighting in Kazakhstan in June also might be a great decision. That still doesn't make GBP obligated to accept the promotional conditions that a fight in June may present.

K2 has an offer in their hand...I bet if they sign it now the no fight in June rhetoric goes away. If they want to risk it...so be it...just know that there are no rules for fairness in business and that's exactly what this is about.

the b-side has to do everything the a-side wants. unless his name is andre ward. then you have to do what he wants.

Of course they wasted time with Jacobs. They wasted time and lost money. When you're unemployed for half a year when there was no need to be unemployed, you don't consider that wasted time and lost money?

Had Jacobs only agreed to fight Golovkin until December 2017 while Golovkin remained inactive, you wouldn't consider that wasted time simply because Jacobs ultimately agreed? You need a lesson in opportunity cost.
