Floyd 20 year dominance made an entire era look "weak".

Sure. Gatti was a real world beater in '05, after being beat down by DLH and three fights with Ward.
Guerrero hasn't beaten anybody since fighting Mayweather. Even literally lost to a cab driver.
Cotto never had a highly significant win, outside of maybe Oldsley and Judah.
Everything the great Mayweather did was pure gold, even though he has gone on record saying he was in it for the money and safety first. They want it both ways. Just ain't gonna happen.Comment

"Here’s the other thing; Floyd doesn’t care about the paying public. I always said that athletes in general and fighters in particular have an obligation to the paying public to give them the best fight possible. He doesn’t care about that and he hasn’t cared about that. He’s a modern day Houdini, he doesn’t take a lick of a chance, he takes your money and he gets away with it. He doesn’t take a lick of a chance
and he gets away with it ." - Ray Mancini
Floyd vs SRL
" He could have never beaten Ray Leonard, Ray Leonard had a mean streak, when he was in there, he wanted to annihilate you, embarrass you. Ray Leonard would not let you finish on your feet, Ray Leonard closed the show, that’s the difference between him and this guy(Floyd)." - Ray ManciniComment

floyd had just beat marquez, shane got in the ring and called him out...fight still didn't take place until almost a year and a half later...
shane so old he probably forgot that he called floyd out a year and a half prior...lolComment

The title of the thread should be.
This entire era makes floyd weak of his ducking and retiring temporarily to duck the best fighters available.Comment

Isn't it funny that this ****** was calling Mayweather a duck when he thought Mayweather-Mosley wouldn't happen and saying Mayweather needed to fight him.
You remember these?
so its official: the excuse for "big money" floyd's excuse making machine for not making a fight with shane mosley after mosley called him out on national television is: he isn't a draw
i can remember when floyd was literally making paying fans head for the exits against baldomir, beg for a fight with oscar de la hoya: i doubt if oscar felt floyd was a great draw when he fought him...Comment

Not only is the guy a flip flopping ******, he thinks 7 and half months is a year and a half.Comment
