Here's a good thread for you.

Mayweather made an hit list of fighters that people said he wouldn't do, he fought them all back to back, apart from Pacquiao who turned down a 50/50 offer over drug testing. Cherry picking though.
oh yeah he fought 'em back to back, after a 2 year "retirement" and those guys sparking each other out...

shame oldsley was so old that he needed a walking stick to get to the ring...lol

You look at the hit list thread ******?

He fought them all back to back. Doesn't mean anything.
Not really. It hasn't even been around that long. it's more politics than anything anyway. You're just going by modern consensus BS. In the old days, there was no pound for pound and it is worthless. How can it even be proven? Most of the guys on the list can't fight each other. It's as bad as mythical match-ups. A lot of hot air with no evidence of anything. By your own logic, it must not mean anything since GGG obviously sucks in your opinion. He's about at number three now. Does it really mean anything now? Yeah, only when it suits you.

Haha. And why did he take that retirement? Hhmm....

A lot of rose colored glasses on around here for Mayweather.

Mosley was the #1 WW ahead of Pacquiao. Doesn't mean anything though.

Mosley's best times were long before Mayweather. You know it but you'll try to fall back on rankings. Whatever. Cotto became the number one middleweight by beating a guy with no legs. No. Rankings don't always tell the whole story. Neither does Boxrec. Dunth.

I don't have to agree with the rankings. Golovkin is viewed as a top P4P just like Mosley was. That's a fact.

It's a fact that the rankings read that way. Sure. Still, you yourself discredit them except when it comes to Mosley vs. Mayweather. Dunth.

At the time before the fight Mosley was viewed as a massive threat. It doesn't matter what happened after, he deserves credit for taking the fight against the guy that was viewed as a top fighter.
