man, boxingscene needs editors and fact checkers
bad. i catch errors every time i come to this page, and im here every day.

      golovkin is not the undisputed
      middleweight champion.

if he takes the WBO from BJS w/o losing the wbc wba and ibf he will be the undisputed champion.

            Exactly!
What also ppl fail to notice is that GGG rarely swings for the fences, he is perfectly happy with delivering methodical beatdown, using 3/4 power punches. What he also does very well is he hides a power punch in a series of light scoring punches. This may create an appearance that he is slower and his power is just "thudding". I don't think this is a case at all. When opportunity presents itself, he can swing a-la Lemieux and KO guys (Rubio, Ishida). But being a smart and experienced boxer he knows that full swings are not the way to go on the consistent basis. You leave yourself vulnerable to the counters, not to mention you can hurt you hand.

I've thought that Lemieux was one of the hardest punchers in the entire sport for a few years now. The sheer speed that he puts on that left hook is amazing. GGG minght not have that one punch to power but the thing is, EVERY single punch he throws has thudding power on it. Jabs land like straight rights, right hooks land like lead pipes, uppercuts like mule kicks, etc.

GGG almost folded Brook in half from a left to the body. GGG knocked Geale down after eating a shot and being off balance when he threw the punch. He broke Lemieux down with jabs alone because his jabs don't do the type of damage that normal jabs would do, they are like straight rights.

When a guy like Lemieux tires out a little bit, he loses the ability to apply that killer power on his punches. GGG will still be landing piston jabs that feel like right hands into round 12.

But like they say, a picture is worth a thousand words so......

LMAO.......alrighty then. I hope they make the diva-Lemieux fight....we have to bet on that. Candelita isn't hard to hit at all and Lemieux only needs one punch to shut the diva down.

Candelita couldn't put Mosley down, couldn't put Lara down, couldn't put Cotto down, he won't be putting Lemieux down either.

OK you can join us back down here on earth Lemieux, you had your high with a very impressive KO over a AVERAGE Fighter but lets bring it down a bit. OK he hits harder than GGG GOOD FOR HIM but GGG is a far better overall Fighter!
