Yes, but both those guys have lost any time they have stepped above C level. Including Stevens losing to N'dam. Is Lemieux an absolute bum...not at all. But he is mid B level at best.

Lemieux is NOT a class B fighter

It is not because GGG is a class A+ fighter that Lemieux is a class B. With or without GGG, Lemieux should still be considered one of the three best middleweight out there. I believe that Lemieux will give Canelo or Saunders a solid beating. Smith, until he was caught by Canelo, gave him all kinds of problems throughout the fight. For Pete`s sake, put Amir Khan in the ring with Lemieux and see what happens... The undertaker is called within 30 seconds... GGG, Lemieux and Jacobs are the best middleweights, period.

i'll paraphrase the article for you - lemieux comes to fight. he may not be the best fighter in the world but he is a solid fighter with devastating power. he is always in exciting fights and is at worst top 5 middleweight in the world. he brings the action every time and tries to give the people their money's worth. he also does not seem to shy away from challenges either - case in point he put his belt on the line in the first fight and is trying to go for ggg a second time when the lineal champion dropped his belt to avoid fighting him.

anyone who wants to bring up the fact that he got a career high payday for the ggg fight is ****** and is probably broke cuz they dont understand how money is accumulated. he can easily earn more by just fighting mandatories or easier matchups and keep cashing the bigger paydays that come with a belt instead of getting that one payday against ggg then having to rebuild. because he fought ggg he had to rebuild with tapia and rios just get to a stevens fight. having 4 championship fights AND still having the belt right now is more money than a ggg fight and then 3 rebuilding fights; the best of which was on HBO BAD which is clearly a lower purse..not to mention the other 2 fights.

lemieux went for greatness and failed but is willing to try again. and this isn't trying to reach your goal of running a marathon. he's trying to get a rematch against murderer in the boxing ring where serious damage can occur. he's not the best and fake tough guys can hate on him all they want but he's doing what most people and most boxers seem to be too scared to do.
